I took my sister away this weekend for some R & R. We stayed in the most charming little cottage, that had lots of places to stay warm, read a good book, have a bubble bath and just generally do nothing!

We met some new friends,

collected eggs from the hen house for our breakfast on the porch, raided the vegie patch and herb garden and found ourselves gazing out the window,

looking over the rolling hills, listening to the cows mooing in the stillness of the fresh air and dreaming that one day we could live in a quaint cottage of our own.
I also took my sister to a winery where we sat on the grass with a big picnic basket filled with yummy food and watched an open air performance of Sean Kelly, The Baby Animals, Train and our favourite, INXS! It was a great weekend that we both needed and loved so so much!
