Look what Jack found living at the bottom of our garden! Quite an unexpected surprise after coming home from work! We did a door knock and no one owned up to him. So I don't know where he came from. I never noticed him waddling up the driveway, ducking his head under the gate! Can't miss him...at least 20cm big and his neck is even longer! Jack was sure there was something under our shed, always digging and barking throughout the night..."Jack! Stop barking!" Since we found the turtle, Jack hasn't barked since! We took the turtle to the vet to see if anyone claimed him from there...then they were going to ring the Wildlife Rescue people who were going to release him into a new environment!
It was quite an experience!
