While visiting Bruges in Belgium, we came across a Lace Museum. Sam wasn't as keen as me to visit inside, so he left me to it. At the end of marvelling at the beautiful pieces of lace, I came across this little old lady.
I watched in amazement of how she was making a piece of lace!
I don't know how she was doing it! She had like a hundred pegs, with cotton attached to each end and hundreds of small pins in the middle and her hands moved the pegs around, up and over, in such a speed! And every now and again she would casually glance at a piece of paper with a design on it and then continue to move the pegs up and over each other, removing the pins here and there. And as I stood back, I could see an image slowly forming.......
It literally took my breath away! It was the most fascinating thing I have ever seen!

Wow. I mean, Wow. That is incredible. What a treat for you to get to see it being done first hand. Amazing.
