Last week we spent a few (very hot!) days in Barcelona. It was a vibrant city and just around the corner there was a traditional Spanish Bullfighting Ring....although we didn't have a look inside, a little too barbaric for my liking!

Again like the many other colorful European cities we have visited, Barcelona was also bright and colorful in the most unexpected places.

I'm not even sure what this building was all about, but how very funky!

Some people of Barcelona were a little strange, but that just adds to the wonder that Barcelona is!



And while some were unable to escape the heat of the day, we found that the harbour of Barcelona with it's views of the mountains in the distance, was a cool relief.
