Only one week until we leave England to start the leg back home to our little home in Geelong, Australia. I just have to share some more photos of the landscape I fell in love with when we explored a tiny part of Scotland.
Little grassy paths with wild meadow flowers would entice you to explore further.......
and lead you to spectacular views of dramatic coastlines.
We drove along single laned roads along the countryside and had to wait for the passing traffic of cows and sheep. Until we came to the Mull of Galloway, the most southern point of Scotland.
The lighthouse would guide the ships at night to divert them from the dangerous cliffs and the large red foghorn at the bottom of these steep steps, would sound out a warning call, if they got too close!
The Mull of Galloway was a wild, windy, gusty place with dark clouds looming above. The views looking across to the Isle of Mann and Ireland made you feel quite isolated.
And these people braved the conditions, because just like me, they found this country.... Beautiful.
