My Creative Space
This is my creative space. This is where I daydream and wish I could actually sew. My lovely old desk that my Dad bought for me when I was in highschool sits by the window and I sit upon my Pops old leather chair. I love these pieces of furniture that mean so much to me. Surrounding me are my own photos of beaches and flowers and brochures of 'dream' houses that inspire me.
Across from my desk is an old cabinet that I found at a garage sale that holds a 'few' of my interiors magazines. On top are lots of shells and coral and sea urchins that Dad had 'found' over the years in his retirement. They say if you take a shell home from a beautiful beach, you are sure to return there! The really big shell is my Nan and Pa's that I remember always being in their house when I was a little girl.
I love taking photographs and I love fabric and this is a room I can let my mind wander and gaze out the window........
and watch this little fella.

I love your creative space! The postcards on the board and the fabric in hoops are lovely. We are heading to a beach in Sri Lanka next week where I hope to collect shells and many a treasure. Best wishes to you and your sweet little furry fella. Tammy
