Me and Nan spent some time in Queenscliff this afternoon......
At the Chocolate Room, Nan had a vanilla slice....which she did not share!
But then again, there was no way I was going to share this flourless chocolate cake! My goodness! Best ever!
While Nan did some window shopping, I took a ride to the top of a new 360 degree viewing tower......
Overlooking the new harbour and Swan Bay......
Looking towards Port Phillip Bay, with the local golf course in the foreground, with a couple of pelicans flying by if you look closely!
And finally, the historic Queenscliff Pier and Lighthouse, with the Heads behind them, where many ships leave the bay and tackle the ocean.
Queenscliff is such a lovely little seaside town......

Yummm..Vanilla Slice, I wouldn't have shared mine either, and your flourless chocolate cake looks divine.
I was there doing the exact same thing the last Monday of the school hols!! My pics are similar & at the choc room I had waffles & a Belgian hot choc. Will try that cake next time. Wow! Oh & my friend & I have decided to leave our children at home next time too!!!!
