Snap it : 'Black and White'
Looking through snapshots of our overseas trip last year, evoking lots of lovely memories.....and wishing we could visit them again!
Venice was one of the most different yet amazing places I have ever visited! To see a city 'built on water' made us always think, how?!
And the food was delish! Very simple, but very flavoursome!
After we arrived in Brussels in Belgium, we caught the train out to Brugges, which the locals called "Little Venice!"
I had the chance to watch local ladies make lace.......
It was the most fascinating thing I have ever seen! To watch a woman who was in her nineties, move her hands back and forth and over and under with such speed....wow. Just beautiful.
Another favourite place to visit was the Roman Baths in Bath in the UK.
I could not believe the history and the beauty of the baths. Even though it was a very busy tourist spot, it was a very serene spot to sit.
We spent a whistlestop tour of Paris in a day. We arrived late the night before and caught the train out to the city first thing in the morning, map in hand and off we went! We crammed in as much as we could before we flew out after dinner!
And when I had a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, I think I actually lost my breath for a moment as I let out a squeal!
I was in Paris!!!!! Something that you only dream about!
