Everyones long weekend has come to an end, but it feels like ours is just beginning.....
A little trip to Apollo Bay for the week!
It was a bit out of the way, but we ventured down the Great Ocean Road and stumbled across the Twelve Apostles.....seeing them was a first for both of us.
A little bit stunning.
We marvelled at London Bridge.
On the evening of January 15th, 1990, the arch connecting London Bridge to the mainland, cracked and fell into the sea below....it did maroon 2 people on the 'new island' and they had to be rescued by helicopter! Very lucky no one was injured!
We walked down the the Gibson Steps which were very steep... very hard coming back up I tell you!
The sea was wild, the waves were so loud, the views were breathtaking.
Look at all the footprints! Do you think anyone else knows about this place!?
As we fought for a good view to take photos, you can see why this is a world famous part of our country.
It is just a spectacular coastline.
