Slow Sunday.....

It must be a slow day if I am finding myself wandering and just looking at my garden....
seeing what has grown since I looked at it last weekend.
I have a small row of flowering gums by our side fence and something is happening there with them! They are coming along nicely and hopefully these little buds will open up and give me a sneak peek of what color they will be covered with!
Looking forward to bringing back some birds to the garden after next door cut down all of their trees and put up the ugly big shed.
Maybe those black cockies will come back.....
A drive down to Queenscliff yesterday with Nan for lunch. We spent ages looking out the window watching the ferry while we talked and talked about nothing....
only pausing to grab a quick bite
it was a little bit lovely to watch the world go by and to catch up

It's a lovely day when the world sails by! Lunch with your Nan sounds so comfortable and fun. I hope you show us your gum flowers when they open.

I do love Queenscliff! I'm pretty lucky that we're only just around the corner. What a wonderful day you two had.
