We have just returned from a few days in Melbourne....
A bed each.
The best buffet breakfast ever.
A couple of nights eating out.
A little shopping.
A little exploring.
But all in all, quite relaxing.....
A pretty good view from our window....
A lazy stroll up the Eureka Tower.
To be precise, the lift travels 9 metres in 1 second!
Up to the 88th floor.
My ears popped about five times!
Views were a little amazing....
In all directions!
There was lots of strolling around the city....
Discovering the colors and the sights of our town.
And wondering where we'll eat next....
Or should we just sit in the sun and watch the world go by?
We did go along to a soccer match, my first one ever,
and watch 'our' team the Melbourne Victory win a great match!
The crowd were so loud and sung and chanted the entire time!
The atmosphere was electrifying!
It was a lovely couple of days and we actually felt like tourists in our own city, lots of exploring and discovering and experiencing the local culture.
The time off that we had was nice.
