Snap it : 'Up Close'
This is my little niece Chloe almost 4 years ago......
I used to see images like this and be a little sad, thinking, I'll never have my own little one to look after. Years of surgery for ovarian cysts and Endometriosis has taken its toll.....
But I have a date for some more surgery just after Easter and even though my right ovary and tube will be taken away, I've been given some hope that maybe a little miracle may happen and my left ovary doesn't have to compete with anything and who knows......
But if it doesn't happen, its okay. I have some beautiful, funny, naughty nieces (that I should visit more often!) that fill that spot! (And a big Happy Birthday to Jem too!!!!!)

Thinking of you too Kelly. Sounds very similar to my friend who, after surgery, was then able to conceive. I hope the surgery is a big success. Love Mel x

Hi Kelly, i have just found your heartfelt blog. This post is close to my heart. After my first two girls were born, I had a nasty cancer that did bad things to my overies and tubes. I was 23. After some major and life prolonging surgery I was leftvwith one ovary and a tiny part of the tube, just so I would not go through menopause this young and ness wiyh my brain! My hubby and I always wanted a big family and were sad that the possibility of more children was very slim. Enter baby girl no. 3, my little miracle, born premmie because i was too ill to carry her around inside me for very long. Who said miracles dont happen. If you pop on over to my blog you csn see pics of my gorgeous daughters and my very handsome. Grandson Rowan, whom i blog about a lot. Good luck my sweet! Roberta
