Snap it : 'Neighbourhood'
Three doors up from our place is the Bellarine Rail Trail. It runs from Geelong all the way to Queenscliff. The part we walk on is a few kilometres long, going towards Drysdale and is quite peaceful. Very quiet. Sometimes its busy with walkers, dogs, joggers and bikeriders. But most times we get it pretty much to ourselves! Jack has a good sniff around then waits for us at a wooden bench, we give him the okay and he crawls under the fence into a paddock to chase the rabbits! He has no hope of catching one! They are way too quick for him! But it tires him out which is great!
The Rail Trail is our Winter walk, most nights after work. Never in Summer....too many snakes!

Faith, Hope and A Whole Lotta Love has many more 'Snap it' images! Take a look!

What a lovely place to escape and get back to nature. I'd be petrified at even the thought of snakes... big thick rubber boots right up to my armpits for me, haha! xo

We're neighbors!! I haven't even been on the rail trail yet, isn't that crazy! I think when our littlest guy is able to keep up, we'll ride our bikes along it. I've been wanting to for so long..

Even though I'm always dreaming of far away places....we do live in a lovely part of the world don't we!? Pretty lucky!
