Snap it : 'Growing'
Even though our Winter is a little bare in the garden at the moment, here is what I am growing in my little part of the world.....
My Sweet Peas are just starting to flower.....can't wait til they are in full bloom and smelling lovely!
I have planted all sorts of bulbs under my flowering gums and silver birches and I am starting to see them come to life!
My little herb garden is growing like crazy and I should get outside and pick bits and pieces to add to our dinner.....and not worry that its too cold outside to do this!!
I can't wait for our roses to be in bloom again and place them in little vases, dotted around the house. It seems like ages since there has been any color in the garden!
The apple tree is very bare at the moment.......Sams mum makes a beautiful apple pie using our apples....looking forward to some of that!
And Jack is looking forward to stealing lemons from the lemon tree once again!

See what everyone else is 'Growing!'

Beautiful photos, I"m impatiently waiting for my bulbs to pop up and roses to flower. Patience is obviously not a virtue I have! I'm worried now I'm a bit late, as I have some sweet pea seed but haven't planted it yet.

Hi there Kelly - we are neighbours! I'm from Anglesea - thanks for stopping by my blog, I have just signed up as your newest follower! I love home grown roses - they are usually so fragrant.

Your garden is beautiful. May I ask how cold it gets where you are at? I want a lemon tree so bad but not sure if I would have to bring it in during winter moths?

I probably shouldn't really be complaining....it gets so much colder in other parts of the world! The average temp during the day is between 8 and 16 degrees and at night it sometimes gets down to zero but usually about 3 degrees! Our lemon tree didn't do too much for years! No lemons at all! Then all of a sudden we got lots of good rain and lots of sunshine late last year and it was covered with lemons! And even this winter, its still pumping them out!!

What a beautiful post, such gorgeous photos of a stunning garden. I love Sweet Peas, have such fond memories of them in my grandparents & my parent's gardens, such a Summery bloom. Love the pic of Jack, he looks like a real cutie stealing those lemons xo

Looks like things are growing well in your little corner of the world, a far cry from crops here. This heat is really taking it's toll on farmer's and their crops.
Your photos are all great. I especially like the ones of your herbs. I find it funny that the dog likes to steal the lemons. You would think that after one taste of the tart fruit that he would not try t again. Made a precious photo though.

You definitely have green fingers! Sweet Peas always remind me of my mum's garden in London... she has green fingers too! Love the photo of the apples. :)
