A lovely day spent at the Banks Road Winery, just near Collendina, on the Bellarine Peninsula with the girls from work.

Beautiful rural views,

gorgeous color hues around the bistro

and lots of quirky features.

Even in the loo!

And the food....

I had a lemon and thyme crumbed pork cutlet with an italian coleslaw, that was amazing! It had capers and parmesan through it. 

Wow.

I mean, wow.

And a side of roasted kipfler potatoes with chilli aioli.

Good.

And the dessert.

Chocolate mousse

And,

(I 'shared' two desserts!)

a chocolate marquise with creme anglaise.

I don't know what it was,

but good golly miss molly,

so good.

I'm not a wine drinker,

but could happily spend my Sundays at a winery.....

oh so relaxing.
